Is there anything better on a wet, windy and cold rainy day than snuggling up on the sofa or favourite chair to knit a
pair of socks? If the pattern is not too complicated, but also with a bit of interest, it will keep you entertained. When
the pair is done, and they lend their warmth to your feet, you’ll have a treat for more cold days!
The cabled rib pattern is stretchy enough to make the socks fit to a wide range of foot shapes. The rhythm of the
knits and purls and cables is easily memorized, not hard to do, but interesting enough to keep you going.

An einem nasskalten Regentag gibt es nichts Schöneres, als sich auf das Sofa oder den Sessel zurückzuziehen, und ein Paar Socken zu stricken! Gute Unterhaltung ist dabei garantiert, wenn das Muster nicht zu langweilig, aber auch nicht zu kompliziert ist. Wenn das Paar dann fertig ist, und sich an den Fuß schmiegt, sind weitere Schlechtwettertage gerettet!
Durch den eingängigen Rhythmus ist das Muster nicht zu anspruchsvoll, und dennoch abwechslungsreich. Das Rippenmuster und die kleinen Zöpfe sorgen für viel Elastizität, so dass die Socken sich an den Fuß anpassen können.
