ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Skill Level: Intermediate.

Size: The pattern creates a blanket that is approx. 38” x 38” with the border (approx. 34” x 34” without the border). Instructions for adjusting the size are included in the pattern.

Yarn: Approx. 1,875 yds (660 g) of any size 3 (light) yarn. I used Baby Cuddles in the color “Neutral Grey.” This yarn is size 3 (light), 70% acrylic and 30% polyamide. A skein is 315 yds / 288 m and 4 oz / 113 g. I used 6 skeins. (For the blanket body: 5 skeins / 1,590 yds (560 g). For the blanket border: 1 skein / 285 yds (100 g)).

Crochet Hook Size: For the start and Row 1: J/10 (6.00 mm) and for the remainder of the pattern: H/8 (5.00 mm). Using a hook that is two sizes up for the start and Row 1 ensures the bottom/start of the blanket is the same width and tension as the rest of the blanket body.

Other Materials: Scissors, yarn needle and a measuring tape.

Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
