These mittens were designed with all things cozy in mind: hot cups of your favorite drink, fire-colored leaves crunching underfoot, crackling bonfires, pumpkin patches, flannel shirts… You know what I’m talking about—fall! Arguably a knitter’s favorite time of year, for now is the time when yarn is no longer a guilty pleasure, it is necessary for the
coming cold months. So cozy up, my lovely knitters! Grab a toasty cuppa, some woolly yarn, and knit these fall-loving mittens for some much-needed warmth!

These are knit from light worsted wool. If your worsted leans towards the bulky side, testers found it helpful to go down a needle size to obtain gauge. As with most patterns, gauge is more important than needle size, so play around until you get the fit you want for your mitten.

knitting in the round, stranded colorwork, increasing/decreasing, Afterthought Method

This pattern is not directed towards one type of circular knitting. Choose DPNs or Magic Loop Method--whatever you are comfortable with!
