Cozy English Tea Cosy Village
by Roberta Beck
Inspired by afternoon tea in the English countryside you can create an entire village of tea cosies based on historically styled buildings. Featuring the beautiful architecture of England, there’s the austere Regency, the comfy Thatched cottage, the whimsical Victorian, a two story Tudor, the Medieval Castle and a Norman Church. Knit in a double yarn technique they are sturdy and will keep your teapot nice and toasty. Make your favourite or make them all.
Each cosy will require about 200 to 250 yards/meters of yarn including small amounts of other coloured yarns for the embroidered details.
