Cozy Handwarmers
THE DESIGN
“Just so soft!”
In simple stockinette stitch, these Cozy Handwarmers make the most of a very special yarn! With minimal details and a long wrist section (keeps the cold from going up your cuffs!), this free pattern is purely about soft warmth. They’re a perfect, cozy treat for yourself or a thoughtful gift for a lucky friend!
In Lang Cashmere Light, these handwarmers are so soft, so light, so … cashmere! This worsted-weight yarn has a loose, chainette construction. Precious, softly waving fibers from the coats of cashmere goats are blown through, giving Cashmere Light (and these simple handwarmers) plenty of puff.
THE DETAILS
FINISHED SIZE
Small/Medium: Approx. 7”/18cm around palm (not stretched) x 9”/23cm long.
Fits 6½–8½“/16.5–21.5cm palm.
YARN
2 skeins Lang Cashmere Light (93 yds/85m). Or 186 yds/170m of an equivalent worsted-weight chainette yarn. Note: This yarn is quite stretchy so it helps to work in a relaxed manner. Pull a few yards from the ball, then knit it up (this puts less ‘drag’ on the yarn).
Sample shown in color 15.
