These adorable baby booties are so fun and easy to make that I want to make pair after pair. I used Caron Super Soft and Lion Brand Heartland for the samples shown but any lovely worsted 4 weight will work. The softer the better for little baby feet.

The main patter is for Newborn (0-3 months) but I have included additional instructions to make two more sizes up. Babies feet can vary in size so these are estimates. The outside measurement of the sole for the Newborn size is about 3 1/2”.

Booties can be made with different color for the sole or one solid color for the entire booty. The choice is up to you.
