I crochet the back piece and sleeves with an I/9 5.25 and the front piece with J/10 5.75

The pattern is 4 rows, 3 of them HDC with increases and decreases the 4th row is a 1 HDC, chain one, skip one HDC.

The first two HDC rows of pattern are increase rows, the 3rd will be decreases and the 4th no increase or decreases.

Pretty easy and forgiving pattern the trickiest part is attaching the front to back and sleeves. Since it is pieced together prior to the front being crochet it is easy to make adjustments as you go for fit.
