The Cozy Season Mitts are a the perfect quick and cozy addition to any cool weather gear.
Classic cables, well tailored gussets, and interesting lateral braids make for a piece that will never go out of style.

In my designs, I always find comfort in revisiting motifs I’ve knitted in the past. It’s like visiting with an old friend, recalling their gentle rhythms and movements. I needed a new pair of mittens, and the simple cables in the Cozy Season Socks made for the perfect combination. They have been my go to mittens since the hopped off the needles.

They are knitted up on size US 4/3.5 mm needles, in light DK to sport weight yarn.

I used Loch Lomond by BC Garn, and it’s a joy to knit cables with! I knit my cables without a cable needle, and this yarn stays in place nicely and doesn’t split plies when you cross the stitches.

The pattern is written for Unisex sizes Kids Large through Adult Large, and a szing chart is provided in the pattern.
