Cozy Shell is a simple and easy neck warmer pattern. This goes very well with V-neck coats and cardigans. It’s easy to adjust size and length because it is knitted from bottom-up. It can cover up to your jaw when worn straight, while feels extremely warm like a big turtleneck when folded back.

This pattern has 2 gauges (15 & 22, 18 & 26). You can use any yarn you like ranging from DK to bulky weight. Since it’s designed in a broken rib stitch and in blocks of 10 rows, it would be cute to use leftover yarn to make your original stripes.
Since you can choose from 3 different shapes (V, Triangle and Tube), you can knit your own favorite neck warmer. Triangle pattern includes guiding information for 4 sizes.

Yarn: Daruma Genmou (DK weight; 100% wool; 151 m / 165 yds per 50 g ball).
Shade: 14 Navy; 2 balls.
Sample used 52 g (157.5 m / 172 yds).
If you omit a few rounds, you can knit with 1 ball.
Gauge: 18 sts & 26 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stocking stitch on 4.5 mm / US 7 needles, after wash and blocking.
Needles: 4.5 mm / US 7 needles.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge.
