An invitation to cozyness

You know that cozy feeling you get when you settle down, wrapped in a blanket, your WIP and your favorite hot beverage at hand, with the soft sounds of a crackling fire in the background … This is the feeling I want to convey in your mind with the Cozy Socks. Plush 2x2 ribbing wraps the foot like a soft blanket, ensuring comfort and fit. A delicate pattern of leaves adds a lovely touch, making them pretty and comfy. The Cozy Socks are my invitation to you to get cozy and enjoy the moment!

The Cozy Socks are knitted cuff down. I held the sock yarn tohether with the Stellaris metallic thread for a bit of sparkle for the cuff and the toe.

Techniques you will use in this pattern:

• Long tail cast on on two needles
• Magic Loop
• Heel flap, short rows and picking up stitches for the gusset
• Kitchener stitch

Une invitation au cocooning

Bien installée, enveloppée dans un plaid, une boisson fumante à mes côtés, la douce musique d’un feu qui crépite… Voilà l’image que j’avais en tête en créant ce modèle de chaussettes très cozy. Les côtes 2x2 moelleuses enveloppent le pied comme une douce couverture, assurant confort et tenue. Comme dans un écrin, des feuilles délicates viennent parfaire ce tableau. Jolies et confortables, les Cozy Socks sont une invitation au cocooning !

Les Cozy Socks sont des chaussettes tricotées des côtes vers la pointe. J’ai doublé la laine à chaussette avec un fil Stellaris pour les côtes et la pointe.

Techniques employées:

• Montage long tail sur deux aiguilles
• Magic loop
• Talon renforcé, rangs raccourcis et relevage des mailles
• Grafting
