This sweater takes inspiration from the humble pinecone. The beautiful cable motif recalls the pinecone’s structure, and makes this easy, basic sweater a special, functional garment that will never go out of fashion.

The sweater is worked from the top down, starting with the Garter collar and circular yoke. After separating sleeves and body, the cable motif goes down to the bottom edge, which is finished with a Garter border. The Cable Pattern instructions are both written and charted.
