Looking for an unusual, unique and personal gift for a special bride? What could be more personal than a beautiful knitted wedding garter? Make one in a color to coordinate with the bride’s flowers or make one in blue for the something old, something new….. well you know the rest ☺ For a dramatic look make the garter in black or red! These cozy garters are perfect for an autumn or winter wedding, or make them in cotton sock yarn for a spring or summer wedding. They use a small amount of sock yarn and laceweight mohair yarn, so check your yarn stash for that little bit of yarn you have left over from other projects! The pattern includes directions for three styles, two beaded garters and one cabled garter. They knit up quickly and also use several techniques that can be used when knitting other projects. I hope you enjoy creating these beautiful garters for yourself or as a gift!
