Cozy Winter Pajamas for Dolls
For 18 inch dolls! Get started on some comfy cozy pajamas for your 18 inch doll for winter. The “cut away” jaunty jacket style is modern and perfect for any doll. It has an easy pants pattern to go with it. You can either add buttonholes, if you wish, or use snaps and sew buttons on top of jacket. Either way, this pattern is up to date styling!
Or try the “Baby Doll Flared” pajama’s. So cute, with a baby doll type top with flared sleeves. To add to this, make the pants with flared leg bottom cuffs. Then, with your leftover yarn, you can quickly knit up some cute slippers with rosettes, or leave plain! These pajama styles will extend any wardrobe for the 18 inch doll and make a little girl very happy to get new pajama sets! If you are in the Holiday mood, try knitting these in Holiday Christmas colors, perfect to wear Christmas Eve! Imagine, waking up Christmas morning with these cuddly new pajama’s. Add your own buttons, applique’s or embellisments to adorn the tops. We chose buttons of candy canes and snow flakes, but you could add a Santa Face button, or embroider your own design. A perfect gift for that little girls doll! Uses worsted weight yarn, (size 4 yarn), and knitting needles, US #4, and #8.
These knitting patterns are designed to fit many of the popular 18-inch vinyl dolls (those with vinyl head, arms and legs and a cloth stuffed body). These include: The American Girls Collection® by the Pleasant Company, Götz Dolls® (non-designer), Dress Me Doll© from The Martha Pullen Company, Tolly Girl®, Faithful Friends Collection®, Liberty Landing®, Girls on the Go®, Savannah of Storybook Heirlooms™, Laura Ashley®, Collector’s Lane®, Creative Doll Company®, Springfield Collection®, Sophia’s Heritage Collection®, Autumn Harvest™ and Our Generation™ and other 18-inch dolls with similar size and construction.
