MATERIALS AND TOOLS
1. Yarn for crocheting and crochet hook.
For crocheting, you will need a smooth cotton, acrylic or blended yarn and a crochet hook that matches the thickness of the yarn. You can choose the color of the yarn at your discretion.
For example, when you crochet using 0.6 mm hook from yarn with a thickness of about 550 m in 100 gr, the size of the crab is about 30 mm.
When crocheting with 1.25 mm crochet hook from a thicker yarn, a crab is about 50 mm in size.
- Toy stuffing (fiber filler, polyester fiber, etc.).
- Needle for assembling with an eyelet through which the your thread passes.
- Two small black beads the eyes (choose the size of the beads depending on the size of the crab).
- Decoration materials. You can decorate the crab with embroidery with French knots or beads and tinting. For tinting, you can use dry pastels, acrylic paints, colored pencils - any material you like.
- To fix the shape of the legs and tinting, you will need acrylic varnish or PVA glue.
- If you are crocheting a brooch, prepare a suitable brooch clasp.
