Nothing signals that Spring has finally come like the blossoming of Crab Apple Trees. Their beautiful pink and white blossoms are a sight to see after the long cold Minnesota winter. To celebrate spring and these beautiful trees, I designed these socks to wear them during their blooming season or even in winter to remember that warmer times are near. These socks are constructed toe up using a seeded ribbing on the foot to represent the tree trunk and the star/daisy stitch on the leg to represent the colorful blooms.

These socks are constructed toe up with a circular cast on and round toe construction. The heel is constructed using shadow wrap technique. The main stitch pattern for the foot is a seeded ribbing while for the leg is derived from either the star or daisy stitch. The cuff is made through seeded ribbing. You can substitute your favorite toe, heel, or cuff construction as you desire.

A sock worksheet is included at the end to help with sock measurements.

This pattern was written to use FlexiFlips which is similar to using the Magic Circle. Small circulars or DPNs can be used as well.
