Crackerjak the Nutcraker
Crackerjak the Nutcracker - 9 Page PDF
Light a fire, a log burning one. Grab your favourite drink (One hot chocolate for me please) and sit back in that comfy chair. I usually have a blanket, that works well to stay warm.
Then you realise, that bowl of shelled nuts, beside you, is just sitting there waiting for you enjoy. You don’t have your tool to crack them open to hand and you don’t want to get back up. Why should you, you are ridiculously comfortable now.
Then to your surprise the unmistakable sound of shells crunching sounds out from just behind your chair arm. You lean over to take a look, there stands Crackerjak. You look to the fireplace, where he has stood year after year smiling and realise he has gone. Now your wooden friend is alive beside you, a companion to share your nuts and favourite drink with.
A smile forms, you was going to enjoy this night alone, but now you have a companion. A wonderful companion.
