Polonia Shawls arise from a collaboration for several months between three enterprising women: Marianela Galo (designer), Justina Schalwich (dyer) and Sugarwoolly (designer). We have created a design with which you can play and get fun.
In the downloadable files you will find 2 patterns (the Varsovia Shawl and the Cracovia Shawl) whose sections 1 and 2 are interchangeable and an instructions file.
That makes you can actually knit 4 different shawls. Also, you can knit each version with one or two colors. So, in the end you have 8 possible versions of shawls to enjoy knitting with.

Cracovia Shawl by Sugarwoolly

SIZES

One size. Finished measurements (aprox.): 64,96” (165cm) long and 29,53” (75cm) from top to bottom at deepest point after blocking.

MATERIALS

Yarn: 2 skeins of SOCK25 by Feliz y Punto (75% Merino, 25% Nylon; 465yds 425m / 100g). Approx. 929yds (850m) of fingering weight yarn. The sample was made using colorway PETALS and WILD WATERS (one skein of each).
Needles: US6/4mm (or the needle size you need to obtain gauge 25sts and 32rows in 4” in stockinette st after blocking) 32” (80cm) cable recommended.
Other: tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

Los Chales Polonia surgen de una colaboración durante varios meses entre tres mujeres emprendedoras: Marianela Galo (diseñadora), Justina Schalwich (tintorera) y Sugarwoolly (diseñadora). Hemos creado un diseño con el que podrás jugar y divierte.
En los archivos descargables encontrarás 2 patrones (el Chal Varsovia y el Chal Cracovia) cuyas secciones 1 y 2 son intercambiables y un archivo de instrucciones.
Eso hace que en realidad puedas tejer 4 versiones diferentes del diseño. A su vez puedes tejer cada versión con uno o dos colores. Así que al final tienes 8 variaciones de chales con las que disfrutar tejiendo.

Cracovia Shawl de Sugarwoolly

TAMAÑO:

Un tamaño. Medidas terminado (aprox.): 165cm de lado a lado y 75cm en el punto más ancho (después de bloquear).

MATERIALES:

Lana: 2 madejas de SOCK25 de Feliz y Punto (75% Merino, 25% Nylon; 425m/100g) o 850m de otra lana de grosor fingering o light fingering. El sampler está tejido con los colores PETAL y WILD WATERS.
Agujas: se recomiendan agujas circulares con 80cm de cable y de 4mm (o el tamaño necesario para obtener 25 puntos en 32 pasadas en 10cm en punto jeersey después de bloquear).
Otros: aguja lanera, bases para bloquear y alfileres.
