Keep your yarn cake together with this yarn cozy!

This is a FREE advanced beginner to intermediate level pattern. This yarn cozy is knitted in the round and features diagonal and horizontal braids. It was inspired by the Star Wars universe, the shape and the red and white colours remind of the Crait mineral planet.
It is meant to hold a 3.5-4oz/100-115g cake of yarn.

One size

Fits most 3.5-4oz/100-115g cakes of yarn.
Diameter of the finished cozy: ~10in/25.5cm

Materials

• Needles: US3/3.25mm double pointed needles or long circular needles for magic loop.
• Yarn: 65yds/60m of a fingering weight yarn. I used Tréliz Zeus (100% superwash merino single).
• Stitch markers (1 recommended)
• Cable needle
• Tapestry/darning needle

Ceci est un patron de niveau débutant confirmé à intermédiaire. Ce protège-pelote est tricoté en rond et présente des tresses diagonales et horizontales. Il s’inspire de l’univers Star Wars, la forme et les couleurs rouge et blanc rappellent la planète minérale Crait.
