You will need:
 size 2.5 mm DPNs;
 cable needle;
 sport/worsted weight yarn (250-300 m 275-330 yds /100 g). The sample mittens used 70 g of Alize Cashmira Yarn (100% wool; 300 m 328 yds / 100 g).
 2 safety pins;
 darning needle;
 scissors;
 marker.

Gauge: 26 stitches and 34 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm 4″ in Stockinette Stitch, measured after blocking.
