Crashing Waves is my first published pattern. This two-row repeat design works up into a cowl or an infinity scarf that really shines with self-striping or ombre yarns.

Pattern presented in written format. First written out in detail, then in shorthand. The pattern also includes a chart for those that find working with a chart easier. I recommend reading through the written directions and reviewing the chart before beginning. I consider this a beginner pattern.

Stitches (US terms): chain, single crochet, double crochet.

The pattern is easily modified by adding more repeats in pattern. Work a short piece to join into a cowl, or work until you have a long enough piece to make an infinity scarf. Make it your own.

Sample worked with one full cake of Lion Brand Mandala: Sirens

You can also make a quick cowl using a single ball of Red Heart Unforgettable.
