Yarn Knit Picks Swish DK, 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 123yds/50g: 26060, Rouge (MC), 2 skeins; 24064, White (CC1), 1 skein; 24045, Coal (CC2), 1 skein; 26061, Honey (CC3), 1 skein.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle; pompom maker (optional).

Gauge 22 sts and 19 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in stranded St st on size 5 needles.

Notes Don’t be afraid if you’ve never knitted with more than 2 colors at a time. When the cat heads come to light, you’ll realise it’s not more complicated. Just keep your skeins organized, be careful to carry your strands loosely inside your work and to maintain a consistent tension. I advise you to make a large swatch of a few cat heads before getting started.
