Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials:
• Size I (5.5mm) crochet hook
• Approximately 900yds – 1200 yds (approximately 3 Skeins) of Red Heart Yarn Super Savers. Depends on size of shorts. In any colors
o Great pattern to get rid of odds and ends
• Cording (0.5 inch or so)
• Measuring Tape
• Stitch markers (Optional)

Sizes:
(XS: 32in, S: 34in, M: 36in, L: 38in, XL: 40in)

Notes: You can change the length of the shorts (from hip to hem excluding band) by adjusting the foundation chain.

You can adjust the width of the shorts by adding more rows to the long part. To adjust the leg width, add more rows to the in-seam.

Sew in the ends as you go; it will be easier when adding the band. The top of the shorts is where the strip starts and ends. This will allow for a nice “hem” on the bottom.

When sewing pants together, I used the whip stitch. You may use any stitch you desire to sew pants up.
