Crazy Toy
This is a perfect way to use up your scrap stash! If you’re like me and I’m sure EVERY other fiber artist EVER, you’ve got at least one bag of small balls of yarn left over from all your projects that’s too little to make another project but too much to toss.
Crazy Toy is something I made for my daughter as a sensory/teething toy and it also helped me use up some scraps. Loop it on to your stroller or high chair table for a toy that won’t fall on the ground. Toss it in the washer and dryer with your normal laundry load.
This pattern is more a recipe rather than a set pattern as you will use whatever you have available, no matter the yardage, and a needles size appropriate for the material. If you have a knitting knobby or Embelish Knit it could be a quick and fun project for you and older children as well.
I recommend cotton scraps if the toy is intended as a teether.
Please post your FO’s so we can see what you dreamed up!
