This cowl is a treat to knit because it’s simple but yields an intricate design! Honestly, it is one of my favourite projects. By using a super bulky yarn this cowl is quick to come together - so quick that on my first attempt I made it too tall and I had to unravel!

Half of the fun is choosing from the extensive colour palette of Wool-Ease yarn to mix and match four colours. Also, if you already have a stash of Wool-Ease yarn this pattern is the perfect stash buster. Only partial balls are needed for the two main colours and very little needed for contrasting colours. Choosing a light and dark option for the top and bottom makes it reversible. The pattern is one size that fits most adults.

The yarn is breathable so it is less likely to fog up glasses. It stands up to everyday wear and can be machine washed and hung to dry. Periodically shaving with a pill remover will keep it looking just like new.
