Creeping Vine Socks
A creeping vine grows gracefully from the twisted rib of the cuff of the sock. Winding first one way, then the other, pulled in different directions by simple increasing and decreasing, the vine snakes down the leg, ending in the heel flap. Leaves branch off the main vine, created with simple lace stitches. The remainder of the sock is knit with a traditional heel turn, gusset, and foot.
