I call this an infinity round because it has infinite possibilities. Make it in any weight yarn or thread, as many or as few rounds as you like. How about a round shawl for a creepy wedding, a rug, or make it in worsted weight for a full sized afghan.
The sample in baby yarn measured 36 inches in diameter using a size H or 5 mm hook. I used 1 ball of Bernat Big Ball Baby Sport Yarn 10-1/2 ounces (300 grams) 1,178 yards, and I had plenty left to do a whole Layette.
The Doily measured 18 inches after blocking. It was made with # 10 crochet thread and a #3 size hook.
