Mosaic Crochet Blanket Pattern

This pattern is designed for overlay mosaic crochet technique, but it can be adapted for inset or interlocking techniques as well.
This design can be worked in rows and in rounds from center out. If you prefer to work in rounds, you can make a blanket by joining 15”x15” squares together or as one large square with endless repeat.

The pattern includes 4 parts:
Part 1

chart and written instructions for 15”15” mosaic square
step-by-step photo tutorial for the mosaic square

Part 2
chart and written instructions for endless repeat worked in rounds

Part 3
chart and written instructions for the design worked in rows
chart for 3x3 repeats

Part 4
separate PDF file for a large printable chart for 3x3 repeat

• Each repeat is 56 stitches and 56 rows.

• My sample blanket is made of 3x3 repeats and measures 44”x44”. I used 54 ounces of yarn Red Heart Super Saver, 4 skeins of each color using 5mm hook.
