Creme de Menthe Vest
This playful striped vest is worked in the round to the armholes and then back and forth in rows. A deep, rounded neckline and waist shaping provide a flattering fit.
Maintaining the unusual 2-1 stripe sequence adds a challenge, as you will sometimes need to push the work to the opposite side of the circular needle in order to maintain the stripe sequence without cutting the yarn. Instructions for doing this are included in the pattern.
Some of the more complex sections of the pattern are presented in two formats: first, a summary of the instructions for those who feel comfortable keeping track on their own; second, a row- by-row chart for those who prefer specific instructions.
