Crescent Hobo
The Crescent Hobo is part of the Handy Hobo Handbags pattern, which also includes the crochet Bulls Eye Hobo.
From Stitch Diva: Designer Jennifer Hansen has created a body-conforming crescent hobo that is knit in one piece using double knitting techniques. It is reversible and you do not need to line the thick fabric. With one side of the bag embellished with beads and the other side plain, this bag can dress up or dress down right along with you!
Skill level is experienced, using advanced stitches, advanced shaping, and simple finishing.
The pattern gauge is not stated online, but suggested substitute yarn gauge is 16-18 stitches over 4 inches in stockinette.
Suggested yarn is 3 balls Berocco Suede and 3 balls Berocco Suede Deluxe, or 235 yards each of a main color and contrast color.
Tools and materials include a 16" circular needle in the size needed to obtain gauge, a cable needle, tapestry needle, sewing needle and thread, sixteen 3/8" beads, and assorted #6, #8, and #11 glass seed beads.
