The Crafty Geo designed The Crescent Moon Shawl exclusively for Karoo Moon’s Mixed Moon yarn.

It is worked in a crescent shape, using various textured stitch patterns that are fully reversible, and which keep knitting interesting.

Working from the outside centre inwards means that there are no size restrictions; this pattern is however intended to be completed with two skeins of Mixed Moon (ca. 400 m) to keep it affordable. Please note that the pattern uses at least 360m of yarn, and that therefore there will not be much yarn for a gauge swatch, but please check that you are happy with the appearance of your stitches, and change needle size if required.

For ease of use, this pattern contains charts in addition to written instructions for each segment of the pattern.

The Crescent Moon Shawl was designed with adventurous beginners in mind, but is equally suited for advanced knitters.
