Cresmont Hat
Construction: Cresmont uses slipped stitch cables to create a cabled hat that is relatively quick to work up with worsted weight yarn. The cables and twisted stitches are all worked over 3- or 2- stitches and are designed to be easily done without the use of a cable needle. The Cresmont pattern offers instructions for three sizes.
Skill level: Intermediate
Skills needed: Knitting in the round, basic cabling, twisting stitches, and decreasing.
Size: Teen/Small, (Medium, Large) Adult
Circumference: 16”, (17 ½”, 19”) unstretched (stretches to fit up to 21”, (23”, 24 1/2”)
Height: 7 ½”, (8 ”, 9”)
Gauge: 24 sts and 30 rows per 4” in body pattern knit in the round.
Materials:

US 8 (5.0 mm) 16” circular and double-pointed needles, or size to obtain gauge
