Crespo
Crespo is one of the main streets in Cuenca, Ecuador. If you need to walk everywhere walk in style these springy socks will take you where you want to go. The circle in the stitch pattern represents the many round-a-bouts in the area.
Crespo instructions are for a Cuff Down, heel flap construction with tips for converting to Toe Up.
Yarn:
400 yds Sock yarn
Gauge:
32 sts and 48 rounds/4inches (10cm) in stockinette
Needles:
US 1 (2.25 mm) circular or size to achieve gauge
Size:
S/Narrow, M/Average, L/Wide, with adjustable length
Notions:
4 stitch markers, including one locking stitch marker and one unique marker for BOR.
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Sample shown in Medium for a size 9 foot. Sample was knit with Dragonfly Fibers Djinni in the Pumpkin Head color way.
