The finished hide, when worked in aran yarn, will measure approximately 13cm/5” high not including the loop. It will fit an adult gecko. If made in double knit it will fit a hatchling. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension.

This pattern is easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from the included guide if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms.

The instructions are in written form with photographs and handy hints to help out.
