Crew Neck Cropped Crochet Sweater
If you have been following us for awhile you probably know we love big, oversized slouchy sweaters. As it was coming on to spring we decided to crop it and wear it with long and short denim (skirts, jeans and shorts). It’s probably still considered “oversized” by normal standards … however by our wardrobe this is probably closer to a “fitted” :)
This stitch is so much fun! We were going to mix it but we got into a groove and used it for the entire panel. The nature of the stitch is loose and creates movement and drape. However it is a heavier stitch so we recommend if you do decide to lengthen your sweater, watch the total weight!
The Blue Hibiscus Crew Neck Cropped Crochet Sweater is a beautiful textured sweater that uses a mesh stitch for the main panels and a basic and mesh stitch for the sleeves. It is a slightly cropped (customizable) with some positive ease built in. The Blue Hibiscus Crew Neck Cropped Crochet Sweater features ribbing at the bottom and ribbing on the sleeves. The neckline is a tighter crew shape to give a casual modern look, although it can be customized.
The Blue Hibiscus Crew Neck Cropped Crochet Sweater is a free and easy crochet pattern available as a size inclusive beginner pattern. This is a made to measure pattern meaning you will crochet to your exact preferred dimensions and as a result your gauge is flexible and does not need to fully match ours.
