Nice and cozy raglan sweater made in pieces and sewn together before finishing the button hole band. The Pattern also includes a cap with different options for color changes.
It can be made all in one color, contrasting band with body a different color, body one color and sleeves in different color or every piece a different color with contrasting bands. Great way to use of scrap balls of yarn from your yarn stash.
I used a variety of different yarns from 75% Acrylic/25% Wool for larger size to 100% acrylic to combo of Acrylic/Nylon Blends. So far I have not found a yarn that it doesn’t look good in. You decide which yarn based on your part of the country. We are in Florida so light and cool yarns work best here.
The pattern gives a break down of how many Yards/Ounces are needed for each piece per size. There are too many numbers to put here.
Some examples pictured are both Crew Neck and V-Neck, mainly to show different looks.
There is also a YouTube Video out there called “Crew Neck Kids Raglan Sweater Tips & Tricks” or search by “Stitch Niche” and see entire collection of videos. The video is a reference guide to help complete the pattern. The stitch count and rows may not match.
