Crew Socks
Inspired by tennis socks, mid 80’s Lady Diana on her way to practice and those 3-packs of tube socks from the mall. The Crew Socks are both a perfectly finished everyday sock and a canvas for experimenting with stripes or funky yarn.
This pattern is unisex and includes easy instructions on how to modify the sizes.
Construction
The crew socks are knit top down with an elastic folded edge. The cuff uses a single thread of yarn whereas the yarn is held double for the foot. A german short row heel is worked before finishing the crew socks with a slightly rounded toe, grafted with kitchener stitch.
