Crime Scene Scarf
This is a scarf I created many years ago as a gift for a friend who was (and still is!) a police dispatcher. I hand-drew the charts myself, and when I was done, tucked them into a drawer and forgot about them.
Fast forward a decade or so, and I was asked to provide details on the pattern.
And here we are!
This scarf is designed to mimic police crime scene tape. The pattern is written with general instructions on how to set up your foundation chain to make the scarf as wide as you want, and provides links to how to do Tapestry crochet. The pattern is written to be somewhat flexible - if you prefer a smaller gauge yarn, you can use that. If you prefer a thick fluffy yarn, that works too. Gauge is irrelevant. The letters are provided as charts.
The yarn listed above is just the one I used in my original design. I have added additional information on other yarn options in the pattern.
