Criminally Mindless
This sock pattern is so simple that it should be criminal, but it’s not! It is a simple broken rib pattern that makes for easy fitting.
This is the first in our series of Mindless Sock patterns.
Perfect pattern for beginning knitters.
It has no stitches to pick up for the gusset and has a very simple heel.
It includes both top down and toe up!
Needle: 2.25mm (Be sure to check mm, not all US sizes are the same) or needle needed to
achieve gauge.
Gauge: 9st/in with stockinette in the round
Yarn: 300 and 500+ yards of sock yarn. (This will depend on how long you want your leg of the
sock to be, from anklette to 4-6 inches. I generally do a 4-5 inch leg and in size L and I use 400-
430 yards. Size S can get a pair of anklettes out of 230-250 yards.)
