This pattern was suggested by Michael A. of Boston, MA and I loved it as soon as I tried it. It involves working behind stitches to make an “X” shape (see picture at right) and creates thick and fluffy blankets. I did find that I had to watch what I was doing (usually I don’t), and not be glued to watching the TV. That’s not necessarily a bad thing! If you try it, the stitch will get a lot easier as you go and it’s just perfect for pet blankets. Thank you Michael!
