This colorful granny square uses front post crossing stitches to create an interesting color-blending and texture effect. To get the full effect of the crosses, you will need to change colors every round, except rounds 1 & 2 can be worked with the same color.
Since the pattern repeats two types of rounds (corner crosses on odd rounds and mid-span crosses on even rounds), you can choose your own size by stopping on whichever odd round you desire.
The color combinations are only limited by your imagination. I have included a calculator on the pattern page to determine the amount of each color needed for your specific color scheme.
