MC = one 50g ball Wendy Merino pure ultra soft wool DK in Dark Grey

Needles:
3.75mm circular hat needle
3.75mm Double Pointed needles are not essential but might be useful for finishing the crown shaping

Finished Size:
Circumference of 19”/46cm unstretched; Height of 8.5”/21cm

Gauge:
19st = 10cm in stockinette stitch

Skills Used:
Knitting, purling, circular knitting, increasing and decreasing, twist
stitches

Extra Information:
If you want to alter the circumference of the hat, the twist pattern has both a 10 st and a 15 st repeat so after the increasing row in ‘Main Section of Hat’ you need to have a number of stitches divisible by 10 and 15. If you want to reduce the height you can skip section 1 of the Twist Knit Pattern. If you want to increase the height do more knit rows at the end of each section.
