Cristine Flap Mittens

Love mittens but hate losing finger dexterity? Try these on for size! The “Cristine” mittens, named after a local yarn shop owner, feature slots for popping out your fingers and thumbs. This PDF pattern includes instructions for making a pair of flap mittens as well as traditional mittens. Fits ladies average size hands; can be easily modified to fit larger or smaller hands by leaving off or adding rows where needed.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: Plymouth Galway Worsted (or 210 yards/100g worsted weight wool)
Hook: J/6.0mm
Stitches: Adjustable loop, double crochet (DC), half double crochet (HDC), front post double crochet (FPDC), half double crochet two together (HDC2tog)
