Including the price of the pattern, this doll can be created for under £5, assuming you have a short length of pink yarn, black yarn, yarn scraps and around half the amount of fiberfill required. I have purposefully used the cheapest brand of yarn that I could find on Wool Warehouse and made it as simple as possible Not only is it cheaper, but the doll can be made exactly to your liking, using different colours of yarn for the hair, or in a darker skin colour. The doll is incredibly easy to make, taking only a few hours to complete and using only basic stitches. The pattern also only uses full terms, no abbreviations, making it easy for you to understand if you’re a beginner crocheter. This doll, which can be made and sold as long as there is a clear reference and credit to me and my pattern, also fits into commercial 18-inch doll clothing, so if your child has one doll and clothing, but wants another, this doll is perfect. They can brush her hair, dress her up and take her on playdates, just like an expensive doll. By making a doll yourself, you are creating an heirloom which will be cherished and passed down generations.
