Crochet Afghan in Cineraria Colors
This pattern is
available for free.
NOW that the knitting season is over many of us are looking for a use for all the bits and pieces of wool left over from the family knitting. I know of no better use for such scraps than to make an Afghan. Pieces a foot or so in length can be used up in this way which would otherwise be wasted. Designing the little squares is a pleasant occupation, handy to take about with one to fill in odd moments on trains or ferries. (…) The rug shown in my photograph was not made from scraps; it was designed in rather lovely cineraria colors to be used in a predominantly blue room. Colors are petunia, white, bright green, bright blue, wine, dark green and a soft grey-green.
Choose a crochet hook suitable in size for the wool to be used.
