Demure, elegant and classic. The lace capelet is a wardrobe must! This pattern uses a very simple crochet technique for a raglan yoke, simple one row of increasing in knit, then knitting straight for the body in an elegant and classic lace stitch pattern. Our sample is made in super soft alpaca yarn, with an organza ribbon closure.

You will need:

• 650 yards of worsted weight yarn, sample shown in Plymouth Yarn’s Baby Alpaca dk (110 yds per 50 gm ball)
• US10.5/K (6.5mm) crochet hook
• US10.5 (6.5mm) knitting needles
• 10mm knitting needle for loose bind off
• Tapestry needle, scissors
• 3 yards of 1/2” ribbon for closure
