This cute baby hat with snail ist very comfortable. It is made with slip stitches and a wonderful, light yarn with cotton and kapok. You can crochet ist also from wool.

you can crochet it also without the snail, but with coloured stripes for bigger boys and girls

I elaborated a detailed tutorial with individual patterns for the various sizes. The picture sides showing you how to crochet the slip stitches, short rows, to finish the snail and the hat.
