This is the most used basic doll body pattern.

If you are a doll maker you will need it almost all the time because:

  • The doll size is more than satisfying for girls of different ages (13 inches tall).
  • The body includes realistic features as waist, hips, and knees.
  • It is a no-sew (one piece doll).
  • you can easily customize it to fit any character you imagine.

This pattern is for Easy to intermediate level. If you are a beginner try a simple doll first.

Supplies:
• You can use any type of yarn to make this pattern. (mixed cotton yarn is recommended)
• Use a smaller hook than recommended in the yarn label to get a perfect doll.
• Stitch marker (a different color yarn scrap would be perfect)
• Yarn needle, scissors
• Stuffing material (soft polyester fiberfill is recommended)
• 2 mm craft wire (you can use covered wire too)
• Plastic card or any plastic container for the sole.


NOTE: To get the same results
(13 inches tall doll): use Nako pirlanta with hook size 1.75 mm


This pattern was designed to give you a basic body
so you are free to make your doll whatever clothes and accessories you want.
