Basket ‘Brooklyn’ is a nice and modern low basket that can be used decoratively in the kitchen, on your table, for your plants, keys, mobile phone. Inside or outside, the possibilities are endless.
To crochet this basket with beautiful Pearl stitches, Pamela yarn from Lankava Finland is used. This nice braided yarn is completely recycled and is available in many colours. Of course you can also use your own macramé cord, suitable for crochet hook 7 mm.

Level: intermediate.

The pattern is described for a basket with a diameter of approx. 39 cm and a height of approx. 7 cm. The basket has subtle handles. The bottom is sturdy, but basket ‘Brooklyn’ cannot be used as a tray.

The instructions come with a written text and a lot of step-by-step photo’s and is very easy to follow. Available in English (UK crochet terms) and Dutch.

Materials needed: 1 x Pamela recycled cotton macramé cord (Lankava Finland), ca 180 m/700 g. Crochet hook: size 7 mm. Use 6 mm if you crochet loosely.
Large needle, scissors, stitch marker.
