In this pattern, I start with circular crocheting (magic loop) and continue crocheting from bottom to top.

The height of the basket is 11cm. with the lid and 10cm. without it and the final diameter 9cm. Of course if you want a smaller or larger size it also depends on your own requirements and aesthetics.
