You can make your own beard hat with this super simple and quick pattern! You will need to know single crochet and double crochet to make this hat.

This pattern includes instructions for making hats for 9 sizes: newborn-2 weeks, 2 weeks-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-5 years, and 5-10 years (or according to head circumference).

The beard made in this pattern is detachable; it buttons to the beanie for easier fit and adjustable size; or it can be taken off and just worn as a beanie.

Materials needed for this pattern are:
Crochet hook size: I/5.5mm
Worsted weight yarn
Yarn needle
2 black buttons with an approximate diameter of 14mm (or 9/16 in)
Matching thread
